Welcome to the Firs Farm website.
We are a family farm sited on the Foulsham Road in a village called Hindolveston. The village is 9 miles from Fakenham, 8 miles from Holt, 12 miles from Dereham and 21 miles from Norwich.
The farm sells a variety of products, these include:- lamb, pork, rabbit, knitting wool, woven wool items, vegetable plants,seasonal vegetables,bulbs, cut flowers and newspapers and at Christmas we have a number of turkeys and hand-made Christmas wreaths.
We have a flock of Southdown sheep. (Stock is available for sale on request.) Alongside this flock we keep Suffolk X, Texal and Beulah Speckled Face sheep. These we cross with our Southdown Rams which produce an earlier finishing lamb. The Southdown produces a large hind-leg. The Southdowns have won a number of prizes at local shows including the Royal Norfolk Show and Aylsham Show. From the fleeces of our sheep we make our own knitting wool and woven wool items, including blankets, baby blankets, throws, scarves, cushions, and shawls. The wool is available in 5 colours all in 50g balls:-

We also keep Gloucester Old Spot X Pigs which produce good meat coming from a traditional breed mixed with a commercial breed. (Please see our page on Gloucester Old Spot Pigs for further details.)
We also have Commercial White Rabbits.The Commercial White Rabbits produce a lean rabbit which is low in cholestrol. The rabbits are sold jointed or as rabbit burgers. (Please see our page on Rabbits for further details.)
We have 2.5 acres of vegetables, which are available for sale as young plants and when fully grown as fresh vegetables and an area of bulbs, which are available as cut flowers or bulb sets in the autumn. (Please see our page 'Vegetable Plant Prices for further details.)
